BASE Mission Statement:

Promoting the safety, well-being, and development of every child while partnering with schools and community to be the best choice for families.

Our BASE Program helps the district meet our Strategic Plan #1 theme of health, safety, and social-emotional supports for students!  We work every day to ensure our students are safe (Initiative 1a and 1B).  Through daily interactions and field trips we provide experiences and opportunities for learning that include inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (Initiative 3a).  Our staff participates in on-going training around mental health supports like suicide awareness, trauma informed care, and restorative practices (2a).
