. Principal, Kiersten Hall
It is an absolute pleasure serving as the Principal at Frontier Valley. We believe in fostering a school community that feels like a family. Our students are provided with opportunities to shine academically, socially, and in the creative arts. In addition, we want to see the joy of learning and the happiness of being a little buffalo shown on the faces of the kids in our school. We enjoy connecting with the community members of Frontier Valley in order to foster a positive environment for all. As a resident of the community myself, I know what a wonderful reputation this school has and I am thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic and dedicated staff. In my opinion, it is important to inspire and support our staff in their ongoing professional development, which ultimately benefits the students at FVE. This school is such a special place for students to learn and staff to work. It is an honor to serve this community as the Principal of Frontier Valley!
A little about my background/experience: My teaching career began in 1996 in Illinois. I taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and multiage classrooms, and coached middle school & high school volleyball. Prior to my time at FVE, I spent 9 years at Pine Lane Elementary in Parker as a 3rd grade teacher, and 6 years as the Assistant Principal at Mammoth Heights Elementary in Parker. I earned a BA from Lake Forest College, an MA from National Louis University, and an EdS from the University of Colorado at Denver. I hold an active Principal’s license, Teacher’s license, and have a SPED endorsement. My husband Tim and I have two beautiful children, Maren and Colby. We are very fortunate to call Parker our home.

I am so excited to continue at Frontier Valley serving the FVE community as your assistant principal! I am so fortunate to be able to work in such an amazing school community with such incredible students and staff! Before coming to Frontier Valley, I completed my tenth year as an intermediate teacher at Trailblazer Elementary in Highlands Ranch. I began my teaching career in Southern California, opening a stand-alone, fifth grade campus. I was happy to teach there for three years before starting my Colorado adventure in 2004.
I completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership in December of 2014. Prior to that, I earned my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from National University in San Diego. I completed my undergraduate work in psychology at California State University, Stanislaus. I believe in lifelong learning and am excited to see what is next in my pursuit for knowledge.
My son, Isaiah, and I relocated to Parker from California. We have enjoyed everything that Colorado has to offer! In my spare time, you will find me traveling to new places, hiking to new heights, seeing a musical or listening to live local bands whenever I can!
